Highs and Lows

A dream just ends when the reality breaks in

But, could one still hold on to the dream and not give in?

What if, in the dream, one ties another, ‘say, with the power of singing?

When one could even get lost in the beauty of a voice, if rightly immersed in

A voice that goes high and low and then high in the most melodic manner

A voice that soothes one’s soul and can even rest it in peace for ever

It’s got to be real though it sounded unreal

But, I knew that breeze was real when it caressed my ear

Yes, it was not a dream as she sat there on the floor in the corner

I could see the night been broken, and the dawn coming over
